On Thursday 14th March, Dr Kenneth Vella, headmaster, presented a donation to Mr Stephen Axisa, National Director of ACN Malta (Aid to the Church in Need). The money was collected during a healthy eating activity organised recently at school. Dr Vella mentioned the importance that we continue to help refugees and children in Syria, a country in which thousands of children are not receiving any education, are living in poverty and in refugee camps. He also thanked the girls and Ms Dorianne Schembri, a member of staff who coordinated the event.
Mr Gauci thanked the students and staff of Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School Paola and appealed to the girls and to other students to continue taking initiatives in aid of the people in need and who are living in countries affected by war.
