Presentation of the European Innovative Teaching Award for Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School in Brussels 


Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph has won the European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA) in the secondary schools category. The aim behind the EITA awards is to recognise the work carried out by the teachers and their schools, and their contribution towards the teaching profession and their communities. The theme for this year was Education and Innovation since this year the Europe Union is celebrating the European Year of Skills.

The celebration event took place in Brussels on 23rd and 24th November 2023. Our school was represented by Ms Lycia Bezzina, one of our educators. The 2-day programme consisted of several workshops and networking sessions. Winning participants from all European countries had the opportunity to discuss their project as well the way forward. Key highlights were the importance of sustainability as well as the use of artificial intelligence in teaching. Our school is proud to have won this award. Well done to our educators for contributing towards to prestigious award.
