On Wednesday 24th January 2024, our school participated in the Learning about Forests (L.E.A.F.) award ceremony. Our school was awarded the LEAF award for the seventh time for the work carried out during the last scholastic year. Our school was represented by Ilenia Fabri and Nicole Spiteri, of Senior 2. After the presentation, Ilenia and Nicole participated in a tree-planting session.
The L.E.A.F. programme promotes the awareness of connecting with our natural surroundings and the importance that the environment plays in our lives among our students. Well done to the EkoSkola and LEAF committee members for their hard work, and the coordinating teachers, Ms Madeleine Agius Carbonaro, Ms Lycia Bezzina, Ms Alexia Brincau and Ms Cristina Spiteri.
