On Wednesday 13th November, the grade 5 girls created a poppy wreath out of recycled cereal boxes and tissue paper. They craft was linked to Armistice day which is celebrated all over the world on the 11th November. The girls were shown a video which spoke about the origin of the Poppy Appeal in the UK.
