Our school celebrated European Code Week 2022 during the ICT lessons with activities related to coding. EU Code Week 2022 is taking place between 8th and 23rd October. All the primary classes, from Grade 1 till Grade 6, participated in different coding games; in the lower classes coding was done through the simple dragging and dropping of arrows to program the path of the character whilst in the upper classes, students actually created their own space scene through Scratch Junior. Several students enjoyed giving instructions to Elsa and Anna from Frozen to create different shapes and snowflakes, whilst other classes helped their characters in either reaching out for their favourite sweets or walk, jump and even dance on the moon. All the activities were organised and coordinated by Ms Cristina Mifsud, the ICT teacher.
