On Thursday 17th October 2019, several students and their parents attended the Certificate Presentation for participating in the Summer programme My Future – Learning About My Prospects programme during the summer organised by the Malta Institute of Management in collaboration with Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola.
Dr. Kenneth Vella Head of School of Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola, in his introductory speech explained the importance and utility of organising the sessions for the students in the secondary years, giving them valuable insights on the diverse career opportunities. He also thanked Ms. Ruth Mansueto, Assistant Head for accompanying the students on these visits.
In his speech, Mr. Hector Spiteri – Vice President of the Malta Institute of Management and Consul for Poland in Malta also reminded the students present about the importance of pursuing their dream careers and make use of the opportunities and valuable support offered to them. Mr. Spiteri presented the participating students with Certificates in the presence of the parents and CEOs from the various entities that took part in this initiative.
Special thanks go to the following entities for supporting the programme: Bank of Valletta plc, Radisson Blu Resort, Francis J. Vassallo &Associates Ltd., Union Print Co Ltd., Express Trailers Ltd. St. James Capua hospital, Golden Harvest Mfg. Co. Ltd., Hili Ventures, the Cybercrime Unit as well as Aurobindo and Vets on Wheels.
Towards the end of the activity the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the school Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola and Malta Institute of Management was extended for another year.
