On the 9th of November 2022, well-renowned Maltese author, Ms Clare Azzopardi, visited our school to talk to the Grade 5, Grade 6, Senior 1 and Senior 2 girls about the books that she wrote throughout the years. Ms Azzopardi explained to the girls how she started writing from a young age and expressed her passion for writing Maltese books, especially those for children. The author then read a few extracts from her books: Il-Każ (Kważi) Kollu tal-Aħwa De Molizz 1 and L-Ispettaklu Stupend Żanżan Kelma. In the end, the girls had the opportunity to ask some questions. Afterwards, Ms Azzopardi autographed the books for the girls. The activity was coordinated by the Maltese teacher, Ms Rachel Sladden. Thanks to Ms Azzopardi for accepting the school’s invitation to speak to the girls.
