A drinking water fountain has just been installed in the school yard. Students may use the water fountain to fill up their water bottles, so they would not need to buy plastic water bottles from school. In this way, the school would be reducing the use of plastic. This practice goes in line with the school’s commitment to reduce waste and the use of plastic. Moreover, this week our school is participating in the European Week for Waste Reduction where various activities are being organised to raise awareness on the need to reduce waste in our everyday life.
The investment in the water fountain was possible thanks to the parents’ support through donations.
