On Monday 10thNovember 2019 Ms. Valerie Scerri from the Life Awareness Project of the Education Secretariat gave the first lessons in Human Dignity Curriculum in various classes in the primary at Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola. The school was one amongst the first church schools to implement and support this initiative. The aim behind the lessons are to empower the students towards a more inclusive society enabling them to live peacefully. Amongst the themes outlined in the HDC there are Human dignity, Power of Loving things and friendship and heroes amongst other topics.
