On Friday 16th October, the Grade 6 class went for an outing in Valletta. This was an educational outing organised by the Drama Unit in commemoration of the 450th Anniversary of the Great Siege of Malta. The girls, together with other students from other schools, walked through the Here they had the opportunity to see the exhibition exhibited at the majestic halls of the Palace. They saw the most important objects surviving from the Siege like armours, cannons and weapons. The girls also participated in a dance workshop where they dressed up as knights and Turks and danced the ‘parata’. The visit ended by joining all the students who participated in this event at the Upper Barrakka gardens where from there they could see a full view of the Grand Harbour.
