On Monday 3rd February 2020 the Grade 1 students accompanied by their teacher and LSE went to do a Numeracy lesson at the Duminku Mintoff public garden. This lesson was an introduction to odd and even numbers. The girls grouped themselves according to the given number and then decided whether the number was odd or even. They even gathered twigs, counted them and afterwards discussed if the number was odd or even. The girls enjoyed this activity and participated actively.
