As an introduction to the topic of weight, the Grade 1 girls recently had a hands-on activity where they had the opportunity to hold various objects and afterwards, discuss whether they are heavy or light. From this discussion, they concluded that, even though an object can be small in size, it can still be heavy. The activity was led by Ms Charlotte Zammit, with the help of Ms Ritianne Brincat and Ms Donna Muscat.
