Our Grade 5 students had an unforgettable live-in experience in Gozo on the 24th and 25th of April!
The adventure began with a visit to an olive grove in Għarb, where students learned about the cultivation of olives and the process of producing olive oil. It was a hands-on and enriching experience that connected them with nature and local traditions. The group then headed to Marsalforn, where they enjoyed a relaxing lunch by the sea, soaking in the beautiful coastal views and spending quality time together. The day also included a visit to the remarkable Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that truly brought history to life.
The evening was filled with joy and laughter as students enjoyed games, singing, and dancing—creating special memories together.

Day two began on a meaningful note with the celebration of Mass at a local parish, giving students a moment for reflection and gratitude. The group then explored the medieval city within the Citadel—bringing to life what they had learned during their Social Studies lessons—and visited Gozo’s old prison. They also enjoyed roaming through the charming streets of Victoria, Gozo, discovering more about the island’s culture and heritage.
Thanks to Ms Nicole Inguanez, Ms Rodianne Polidano and Ms Martha Urpani who coordinated the activity and accompanied the girls during the live-in.
