As part of the German syllabus students in Form II learn about different types of German and Austrian dishes. On the 25th of May they got to explore the food and culture of German speaking countries from some very delicious points of view. Preparations for this special day started weeks before by finding recipes on the internet or in magazines and making creative decorations. Posters with recipes, pictures and photos were prepared and ingredients lists were translated into German. The students then cooked delicious savouries and sweets at home and brought them to school on the day. Students from year 6 and Form 2 and teachers were invited to taste the lovely food. This was a fun-learning experience and students enjoyed sharing their recipes and dishes with their friends. A special thanks goes to all the parents who helped to make this day a success. DANKE!
