On Tuesday, 3rd December, Senior 1 and Senior 2 students of German were baking and decorating traditional German Christmas biscuits. In Germany and Austria these are served with afternoon tea during the time of Advent. The lesson was held in the Home Economics Room. It was not long until a lovely smell of Christmas spices filled the room and the corridors.
The students baked, Linzer Augen, Schokoladeschneekekse, Kilimandscharo Kekse, Spitzbube, Zitronenkekse and Nutellakekse.
The Biscuits were then wrapped nicely to give as presents and to take home to enjoy with the family. Students also shared some biscuits with their friends in class.
