Francofête competition – March 2021

In March 2021, some Senior 2 students of French participated in a competition in which they had to formulate a PowerPoint presentation that was linked to an association they form part of and through which they practise their favourite pastime: art/dancing/singing/acting. This activity formed part of the Francofête competition which is held annually as part of the celebration of the day which commemorates the countries which speak French around the world. The PowerPoint presentations that Maria Elena Camilleri, Kylie Dalli, Solange Fenech and Laura Morino created were very well presented. All the participants received certificates of participation and some books too as a sense of appreciation for their efforts and hard work. This experience was a beneficial one for all the mentioned girls because in terms of this PowerPoint presentation that they formulated, they were able to communicate their passions with regards to the selected leisures and they improved themselves their level of French. Experiences of the sort render the pupils more autonomous and they prepare them always more for what awaits them in the future. Well done to the girls and also to Ms Elisa Saliba for encouraging them to participate in this competition.
