On Friday 6th October 2023, the school community gathered to celebrate mass together as a whole school at the beginning of the scholastic year. This occasion was chosen to celebrate the first Friday when all students return to school.
Mass was celebrated by Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain. Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, led the choir formed by the Senior 1 students. Kayleen Zahra Cutajar, of Grade 6, Victoria Maria Grech and Hayley Spiteri, of Senior 1, played the violin, while Sarah Sacco, of Senior 2, played the oboe. During mass, the pastoral theme chosen by the Church schools for this scholastic year, Global Compact of Education, was launched. Thanks to the Pastoral Care Team who helped in the organisation of the mass.
