On Monday 15th March 2021, during the Maths online lesson, the Grade 2 students continued learning about coins and counting money. In order to make the lesson more interactive for the girls, the class teacher Ms Stephanie Saliba, made use of a new online resource from Estonia, 99Math. This resource was used during the lesson and a game code/link was also sent to the students so that they could continue to consolidate the topic further.
The use of 99Math was made possible thanks to the agreement reached last November between the school’s headmaster, Dr Kenneth Vella, who is also the Maltese ambassador to Estonia and Finland, and Mr Tonis Kusmin, CEO of 99Math. Thanks to this agreement, all Maltese educators, students and parents can make use of this resource during their online lessons and on an individual basis.
