On Monday 13th November 2023, representatives of the EkoSkola committee attended the Green Flag award ceremony. Last scholastic year, our school was awarded the Green Flag, for the ninth time, for the work carried out by the EkoSkola committee during the 2 previous scholastic years. Sarah Sacco and Nicole Spiteri, of Senior 2, together with Ms Cristina Spiteri, were presented with the Green Flag by H.E. Dr George Vella, President of Malta.
Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School was the first church school in Malta to have been awarded the Green Flag. Well done to the EkoSkola committee and to the link teachers, Ms Madeleine Agius Carbonaro, Ms Lycia Bezzina, Ms Alexia Brincau and Ms Cristina Spiteri, for the great work carried out by the committee.
