On Monday 1st March 2021, Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School received the EkoSkola Green Flag award for the 8th consecutive time. Due to the mitigation measures, this year’s award ceremony was held online. The President of Malta, HE Dr George Vella, a distinguished patron of the EkoSkola programme, addressed the students and emphasised the importance of taking care of our planet and of living sustainably. The EkoSkola committee followed the event in the school yard. When they were given the award, the students shared the Eco Code with the audience. Well done to the committee for another great achievement and to the link teachers for their initiative in participating in many projects.
