The Eko Skola committee informed the students and staff about Earth Hour on the 28th of March, where lights are to be switched off for an hour to make a stand and reduce electricity consumption.
The committee advised the students that at school this was to be done on the 27th of March between 12pm and 1pm. Students signed pledges to promise that during the official Earth Hour, they would not use any electricity.
