During the Lent period, our students were asked to bring food items to school in aid of charity. It was another successful initiative as a large amount of foodstuff was collected. This event was promoted by the School Council and the Eko Skola committee. The success of this event reflects the school’s ethos, that of helping people in need, and also Eko Skola’s policy and priorities in its commitment to avoid wasting food and to fight against poverty. The food collection was donated to Senglea Parish Basilica to be distributed to families in need in that locality. The school thanks the students and their parents for contributing to this initiative to help people in need.
