Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola is participating in an initiative to help secondary and post-secondary students in Tanzanian schools. Ms Mary Grace Grech, the school librarian, selected several books from the library to be sent and used by students and children in Tanzania. They were packed in boxes to be sent to this country. In this way, the books would be reused by students attending schools in Tanzania. The initiative was coordinated by one of our staff members, Ms Elaine Azzopardi. This initiative goes in line with the school’s pastoral care theme for this scholastic year, empathy, and also one of the Eko Skola’s goals, responsible consumption and production.
