The Senior 1 class recently completed a Dinja Waħda activity – Flower Detectives. This activity helped students to learn about Malta’s flora. The students watched a Power Point presentation about different flowers which are found around the Maltese Islands. The activity consisted of 4 different fact cards and each student coloured a part of the flower which was divided into 4 pieces. Through this activity, the students did not only learn the names of different flowers but also fun facts about them. Well done to Ms. Rachel Sladden, Ms. Elaine Azzopardi and Ms. Katia Camilleri for carrying out this activity as well as to Ms. Lycia Bezzina, the school coordinator for Dinja Waħda programme.
