On 8th May 2015 the staff, students and their families celebrated the Crowning of Our Lady in the school yard at Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph school Paola on the feast of Our Lady Of Pompeii. Fr. D Mangani celebrated Holy Mass during which the statue of our Lady was crowned with flowers. The students made offerings of candles, flowers and food stuffs that were later distributed to charity. Mass was preceded by a decade of the Rosary. Amber of Senior 2 and Chloe of Grade 3 were chosen to crown the Statue of Our Lady and bear the crown respectively.
The event was organised by the school’s Pastoral Team with the participation of the school choir under the direction of Ms. Esposito.
