On Friday 27th May 2022, the Pre-Grade and Grade 1 classes had a cooking activity where they used various ingredients to make their own ‘ftira’. The girls had a great time spreading butter or tomato paste and placing other items such as ham, cheese, tuna, olives, goat cheese and ‘bigilla’ on their bread. Once they ate their ‘ftira’, the girls were given a special treat – ice cream! Special thanks goes to Paul Vella, of Ta’ Kalċ Bakery for providing all the girls with delicious bread. This activity was coordinated by Ms. Renette Magro and Ms. Charlotte Zammit, together with Ms. Rebecca Cassar, Ms. Clare Meilak and Ms. Claire Vella.
