This scholastic year, our school has continued with its commitment to working towards a more sustainable environment. On Friday 3rd February 2023, during the assembly, some members of the EkoSkola committee informed the school about the collection of used batteries and cartridges. Our used batteries collection campaign is ongoing. This year, the batteries are being collected in aid of Hospice Malta. Batteries may be disposed of in the bin near the hall. We are also collecting used printer cartridges which will be given to Bureau Vallée shop which, in turn, gives the school a small donation for every empty cartridge. The cartridges which are accepted are those of HP and Canon printers, and any other compatible cartridges which Bureau Vallée stocks. The shop will recycle the cartridges and reuse them. The used cartridges may be placed in the box which is located near the lift on the ground floor, in front of the Science lab. Well done to the EkoSkola commitee for their hard work, and also to the link teachers, Ms Madeleine Agius Carbonaro, Ms Lycia Bezzina, Ms Alexia Brincau and Ms Cristina Spiteri.
