On 22nd February, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts celebrates a United Day of International Friendship. One of the activities that The Malta Girl Guides Association organises on this day is the Scarf day. The idea behind this activity is to raise awareness on issues affecting girls and young women, as well as to learn more about Girl Guides around the world. On Friday 20th February 2026, the girls attending our school who form part of the Malta Girl Guides Association, as well as staff members, wore the Guiding Scarf with their uniform. Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, and staff members spoke about the significance of this day during the morning assembly. Well done to our Girl Guides and Scouts!
