Safer Internet Day is annually celebrated globally in February to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people, and to inspire a national discussion about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. Through a specially designed toolkit by BeSMartOnline, which included storytelling, presentations and discussions, during the ICT lesson, our students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 became more aware of the problems that they may encounter online, how to avoid them, and tackle different situations that may arise. The lessons were led by Ms Cristina Spiteri, ICT teacher.
