Carnival was also celebrated at our school – Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola on Friday 9th February 2018. The students attended school wearing their favourite costumes or casual clothes and participated in a number of activities organized for them varying from cooking to face painting and crafting. In this way the students and staff could relax and enjoy themselves.
As part of the activities the after school basketball team played against each other to demonstrate the skills that they have been practising throughout the year under the guidance of Ms. Rachel the foreign player with Hibernians. Before the match the students and staff participated in a Zumba session led by Ms. Roxanne.
