Carnival was also celebrated at our school – Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola on Friday 24 th February 2017. The students attended school wearing their favourite costumes or casual clothes and participated in a number of activities organized for them varying from cooking to face painting and crafting. In this way the students and staff could relax and enjoy themselves.
As part of the activities the school basketball team played against the teachers and these were refereed by Ms. Sylvia Gambino – Hibernians Coach. One of the foreign players, Ms. Trudy Armstead from USA joined the staff and students for the match. Before the match the students and staff participated in a Zumba session led by Ms. Alana Bondin.
