Throughout the past week, the Primary classes had the chance to visit the Big Book Exhibition in the school hall which was set up as part of the Book Week celebrations. During their Library / ICT lesson, the students were divided into groups of 6 and were asked to leaf through and read snippets from different Big Books, and then they presented what they learnt to their peers. The Grade 5 and 6 girls also had a worksheet to work out, and they also had to explain what they found interesting in the books and suggest ideas to change or add to the books.
Well done to Ms Cristina Spiteri, I.C.T. teacher, and Ms Mary Grace Grech, Musi/Library teacher, who prepared and coordinated the activity.
