The annual sports day was held on Friday 29th March at the Hibernians Corradino Pavillion. The girls really enjoyed the different games and activities that were prepared by Ms Denelza Florian Bayliss, PE teacher and her team. At end of the event, Dr Kenneth Vella, Headmaster, presented every girl with a commemorative medal. Dr Vella emphasised the importance that the girls take part in sport activities and do regular physical activity. He also thanked Mr Ronnie Calleja, venue director and Hibernians Sports Association for their constant support towards the school and the community. During the same event were also organised a Zumba session (for students, staff and parents) and a tug of war competition between parents and teachers.
It should be noted that three years ago the school signed a collaboration agreement with Hibernians Sports Association and from time to time Hibernians Basketball Club and Hibernians Volleyball Club also lead training sessions in our school.
