On Monday 2nd December 2019, the whole school celebrated the start of Advent together in the school yard. The celebration started with the Grade 4’s explaining the significance of the Advent Wreath. Students from various classes then shared their reflections and acts of kindness that they were carrying out during advent. Canon Marc Andre’ Camilleri then blessed the Advent Wreath and lit the first candle of advent explaining the meaning of the Advent Wreath. Afterwards, he also blessed the little wreaths that the girls had prepared with their teachers and members of their families. All the girls particiated actively by preparing their wreaths and singing carols. Sr. Bernardette Gafa’ and Sr. Kalpna also helped the Pastoral Team to prepare for this celebration.
