On Monday 3rd December 2018 the whole school celebrated the start of Advent together in the school yard. The celebration started with the Grade 4’s explaining the significance of the Advent Wreath. Students from various classes then shared their reflections and acts of kindness that they were carrying out during advent. Sr. Lucienne then blessed the Advent Wreath and lit the first candle of advent explaining the meaning of the Advent Wreath. Afterwards she also blessed the little wreaths that the girls had prepared with their teachers and members of their families. All the girls participated actively by preparing their wreaths and singing carols.
