On Tuesday 7th December 2021, the second candle of advent, symbolising love, was lit up during the assembly with the junior classes. During the activity, Jaelle Calleja, Chaia Fava and Kim Dimech, from Grade 3, together with Lea Cassar and Pearl Caruana, from Grade 4, read some reflections about lent while Sr. Kalpna Tirkey read a short prayer. Dr. Vella also explained in detail the significance of the candle which was lit during the assembly.
Thanks to Ms. Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, for preparing hymns which were sung during the celebration, and also to the Pastoral Care team for coordinating this activity.
