Advent Celebration – Week 1 – November 2022

On Tuesday 29^th November 2022, the school celebrated the beginning of lent and lit up the first candle of advent during the assembly. During the activity, Kelsey Degiorgio, of Grade 4, Nicole Spiteri, of Senior 1 and Julia Maria Grech, of Grade 6, recited prayers and read out an extract from the Bible. The first Advent candle was lit up by Ms Julia Buttigieg. At the end of the activity, the Grade 5 class sang a hymn related to Advent. 

                                                              

Thanks to Ms. Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, for preparing hymns which were sung during the celebration, and also to the Pastoral Care team for coordinating the activity.
