A yearly event held at The Mediterranean Conference Centre is the Malta Book Festival. This always takes place in the second week of November.
For the third consecutive year a special event, “Reading Champions Award Ceremony”, was organised by the National Literacy Agency in collaboration with the National Book Council and the Department of Curriculum Management of the Ministry for Education and Employment.
During this event three of our Senior II students, Sarah Cachia, Michaela Evans and Faith Muscat who are ardent readers, and who have improved their reading skills or have inspired their peers to read, were awarded for their effort. In fact during this ceremony 3 Senior II students – – were awarded with certificates and books.
Congratulations to the girls and may others follow their example. Their participation was co-ordinated by Ms Carmen Esposito and Ms Mary Grace Grech, library teachers.
