On the 4th October 2017 2 Senior 1 students and another 3 from Senior 2 were accompanied by Ms. Marica and Ms. Cristina to the 8th Edition of the Young People’s Summit which Eco School hold annually. The aim of such an event is to give voice to the students about the things bothering them and to make them think about possible solutions. The students from each participating school were split into groups where each discussed a particular topic related to the oceans in lieu of the International Conference held in Malta ‘Our Oceans’. The students’ ideas were all compiled in a declaration which will be presented in the Conference itself and also during the annual Eco School Parliamentary Session.
