Young Reporters for the Environment Competition – March 2025

This year the Senior 2 students participated in the Young Reporters for the Environment competition where they wrote an article in their English lesson; this year there were other entries too including videos and photos. The YRE is a programme designed specifically for secondary and post-secondary students where the main aim is to carry out investigations on local environmental issues and propose solutions through investigative reporting and photojournalism. The goal of YRE is to engage youth in resolving environmental problems and issues. The girls were guided in their project by Ms Julie Tabone Valetta, the English teacher, with the coordination of Ms Cristina Spiteri, our school YRE coordinator.
