Welcome to the start of the new scholastic year 2015-2016

Welcome to a great start to the new scholastic year 2015-2016 at Mater Boni Consilii St.  Joseph School Paola.  Each new academic year brings new challenges and new faces!

This year we welcome a number of new teaching staff who have joined our team.

Ms.  Analise Apap, Ms. Annemarie Camilleri, Ms.  Elisa Saliba, Ms. Elysia Ellul Micallef and Ms.  Elena Sammut.  We also welcome Ms. Christine Cutajar and Ms. Elaine Spiteri.

In preparation for the new academic year the staff participated a number of meetings and seminars on the on the 24 th and 25 th September 2015.

On Thursday 24 th September 2015 – all the staff gathered with other members of the community at St.  Joseph’s to celebrate Holy Mass in the Convent Chapel.  Mass was celebrated by Fr. D. Mangani.

After Mass the staff gathered in the school hall for a presentation by the Head of School Dr. Kenneth Vella who welcomed the new additions to our staff and outlined the challenges for the year ahead.

On Friday the 25 th September 2015 our staff was joined by Ms. Janet Maria Cristina and Ms. Erica Medati who lead an extremely interesting PD session about Journaling and Creative Writing.

Later on during the day, the staff was joined by Mr.  Mario C. Mansueto.  Mr. Mansueto made a presentation regarding Health and Safety with reference to the School Evacuation Plan.
