Our Lady of Sorrow Mass – April 2022

On Friday 8^th April 2022, our school celebrated Our Lady of Sorrows mass at Christ the King Basilica. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Gilbert Scicluna, Vice Parish Priest at Christ the King Basilica. Mass was animated by the girls. The choir was led by Ms. Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, who was accompanied by Krista Pisani who played the violin, Ms. Marica Grieco Falanga and Yasmine Pullicino who both played the guitar. The Grade 5 students formed the school choir. Flowers which were brought to school by the students, were offered during mass. Towards the end of mass, Mariah Vella of Senior 1, read the poem L-Għanja tal-Imnikketwhich was written by Maltese poet, Rużar Briffa. The work which was produced during the Prayer Spaces was displayed during mass. Thanks to the Pastoral Care Team, Ms. Mary Grace Grech, Ms. Elisa Saliba, Ms Charlotte Zammit, Ms Lycia Bezzina, Ms. Josann Agius and Ms. Alexia Brincau for coordinating the celebration.
