May Crowning – May 2025

On Thursday 22nd May 2025, the school celebrated the Crowning of our Lady. Students from different classes recited a decade of the rosary each. Faith Spiteri, of Senior 2, crowned the statue of our Lady, while Zayelle Borg Aquilina, of Grade 3, was the crown bearer. During the celebration, the students sang hymns to honour Blessed Holy Mary. The songs were sung under the direction of Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher. After the crowning, Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain, shared some reflections on our Lady and the importance of allowing her to guide us in our decisions. Like Holy Mary, we must be instruments of peace, especially in a world fraught with war. A beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was offered to our Lady, was donated by Emma and Chloe’ Casha’s parents. This activity was coordinated by the Pastoral Care Team.
