Fun Fit Football lessons – May 2024

The school recently held Fun Fit Football sessions during the P.E. lessons, in collaboration with the Malta Football Association. These sessions were designed with a dual purpose: to instill a love for physical activity and to teach fundamental skills in football.

Regardless of age or experience, students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 engaged in dynamic activities tailored to their developmental stages, fostering a supportive environment for learning. Through progressive drills and games, they mastered the foundations of ball control, from basic dribbling techniques to passing and receiving with precision, as well as having different games that focused on fitness components that are used in football, like reaction time. These lessons not only cultivated physical agility but also enhanced cognitive skills such as decision-making and spatial awareness, ensuring holistic development on and off the field. The sessions were led by Ms Nicki and Ms Patricia.
