School Calendar Third Term 2024-2025
On Monday 16th June 2025, the school celebrated Foundress Day and the Senior 2 farewell. Holy Mass was held in the school yard by the school’s chaplain, Fr Leonard Mintoff. Mariana Busuttil Risiott, of Grade 4, helped out during mass. The school choir was formed by Kate Falzon, Victoria Maria Grech and Hayley Spiteri, of Senior 2, under the direction of Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher. The life of the school Foundress, St Emilie de Vialar, was celebrated and presented during mass.
The event also marked the farewell of the Senior 2 students. The girls passed on a message to all the staff who taught them during their nine years of schooling at St. Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School. Dr Kenneth Vella, on behalf of the school, presented gifts to each student. Parents and relatives of Senior 2 students also attended the activity.
This year, the award to the most outstanding student given by the CIRCLE international committee was presented to Faith Schembri. Faith received the most nominations from the educators. During the nine years at St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School, Faith always showed altruism and empathy towards others.
As a treat, on the day, Dr Kenneth Vella, the Head of School, gave out an ice-cream to all the students and staff members as a treat to celebrate this special day.
The school wishes a happy feast to all the community. May the spirit of St Emilie continue to be present in our lives.
