European Code Week – October 2017

On Monday the 9^th October 2017 grade 3s had an interactive coding session with the use of the tablets during Ms. Cristina’s ICT lesson.  This activity was conducted to mark European Code Weeks from the 7^th to the 22^nd of October.  The students were paired and were given a tablet so that they would be given the chance to learn how to code through the online game Code Monkey.  On Thursday the 12^th of October on the other hand, the grade 4s had a similar session but this time, coding was practiced through Frozen’s code.org game.  On the other hand, Senior 2s had an opportunity to learn more about coding on Friday the 20^th of October, where they were taken to PwC Academy where they had a practical hands on experience on Microbit where they had to code a microchip.
