Edaav Water Project- Fieldwork in Valletta – April 2017

On the 6th of April Senior 1 students were taken to Valletta as part of their EDAAV Imagine Water Project.   Usually the workshops are held in class, where the students engage themselves in painting inspired by the theme of Water, however this time round, Senior 1s could actually see and feel and not just imagine water as they were taken to our capital city Valletta to do this.  Various methods and techniques of how to portray the texture of water was explained to the students. Valletta’s fountains and sea and the Upper Baracca Gardens served as an excellent backdrop.  The fact that during both their History and Geography lessons the focus was on water in Valletta helped the students to understand better the importance of water in our capital.
