Celebrating the Feast of St Joseph – March 2025

On the occasion of the feast of St Joseph, our school commemorated this day with mass for all the classes. The school gathered in the school yard to celebrate the feast of the Patron Saint of our Congregation, St Joseph of the Apparition. During mass, Can. Fr. Marc Andre Camilleri, Parish Priest of Christ the King Basilica, honoured St Joseph and encouraged us to emulate his humbleness and love for God. The choir was formed by the Senior 2 class, under the guidance of Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher. After mass, some students in Grade 5 animated the Gospel which was read during mass. The students were prepared by Ms Lycia Bezzina with the help of the Pastoral Care Team.
This mass also served to honour the memory of Archbishop Emeritus, Mons. Paul Cremona, who passed away on the eve of the feast of St Joseph the Worker. Bidding prayers recited during mass were taken from the book ‘Nitolbu Flimkien’, a school publication which was published in collaboration with Mons. Cremona. Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, recalled the various initiatives which were undertaken by our school together with Mons Cremona.
Mass was coordinated by the Pastoral Care Team.
