Celebrating All Saints Day – October 2025

On the occasion of the feast of All Saints Day, the Pastoral Care Team organised an activity to commemorate this day and honour the saints. Several girls rose up to the occasion and adorned the school with different t-shirts honouring so many different saints. Some girls even prepared their own hand-made shirts. During the assembly, Dr. Kenneth Vella, explained the significance of this day in the liturgical calendar. He also referred to St. Emilie de Vialar, the Foundress of the Congregation of St. Joseph. A picture of St. Emilie was put up in the school yard during the activity. Some students in Grade 6 highlighted the fact that saints were not superheroes but were normal people who in their earthly journey chose to follow Jesus by being witnesses of love and faith. Then, the Grade 6 class sang “When the Saints Go Marching In” under the direction of Ms. Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher. Furthermore, Kelly Scerri, of Senior 2, played a part of the song “Holy, Holy” to honour all the saints. To mark this day, the Grade 3 class prepared information on a saint, and their work was displayed in the school corridor. Well done and thanks to the Pastoral Care Team members, Ms. Lycia Bezzina, Ms. Alexia Brincau, Ms. Anna Gauci, Ms. Mary Grace Grech, Ms. Elisa Cassar and Sr. Kalpna Tirkey.
