The Grade 4 students wrote Christmas cards to the elderly who will not be with their loved ones this Christmas time. Students have been discussing different acts of kindness during Advent. They wrote wonderful messages. These cards will be delivered to the elderly in the coming days.
On Thursday 12th November 2020, the Grade 4 students took part in the Malta Book Festival 2020 – The Wondrous World of Children’s Literature. This was an online event and the girls really enjoyed it. On Thursday 5th October 2020, Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain, celebrated mass with the Grade 4 class. The students were prepared by Ms Sara Debono and Ms Christine Mallia for this celebration. Grade 6 students had the opportunity to go to confession.
On Thursday 22nd October 2020, Fr. Leonard Mintoff, our school chaplain, celebrated the first mass of the scholastic year with the Grade 2 class. Mass was celebrated in the school yard where social distancing could be practised. Moreover, Grade 4 students had the opportunity to go to confession.
The Grade 4 students made thank you cards to thank healthcare workers during this difficult time.
During Lent the school organizes various Lenten Talks and Workshops for the various classes. On Thursday 6th March 2020, Grade 3 and Grade 4 participated in Lenten Talk and activities at school. The session was led by Fr. Mangani. The themes of praying and doing acts of kindness were the themes chosen.
On Tuesday 11th February, the Grade 4 students played different Maltese traditional games as part of the Social Studies lesson. Students played hopscotch, lakstu, beads, marbles, skipping rope and also did soap bubbles. Everyone really enjoyed this activity.
On Thursday 30th January, the grade 4 students investigated sound vibrations of a tuning fork. They used sugar and a stretched surface to carry out this investigation. Students really enjoyed themselves during this whole class activity.
